Khit textile art is created by Lao and Tai communities across the Mekong region, in present day northeastern Thailand and Laos. Traditionally it appears on pillows, bolsters and everyday household textiles that quietly show the weaver’s skill and the family’s taste. Today, those same structures become refined textile art that works beautifully in modern interiors and wardrobes.
